Celebrating Our First Blogiversary

Almost one year ago Sheerparenting.com was born purely with an intention to share my experiences of parenting. Little did I have any idea what the future holds for this website and perhaps that is the reason it never ceases to amaze me what happened in an year’s time!

They say time flies when you’re having fun, they are so right in saying so! Today, SP has completed a year and I am really happy celebrating its first Blogiversary for the great response and success of the site over the last year. Exactly one year ago today, on May 4, 2015, I hit that “publish” button on my very first blog post and I am so glad I did that! Since then, there has been no looking back but today I will take you on a little trip down memory lane.

Two days later after I published my first blog, I entered the Mother’s Day contest with my entry on the subject of ‘Stay-At-Home-Moms’ and emerged as among the proud winners of the Contest at mycity4kids.

July was the month of sheer bliss as most of the posts posted during the month received huge response from the readers, especially these two, this and this!

In August, a post on ‘Anger Management’ founded its place in paper.li publications.

September had the credit for the reviews, be it the Bazinga Box or the Pearl Eductaion! Later during the Month, I again emerged as a proud winner for my entry at BlogAdda and in prize got an opportunity to attend the ‘India Today Woman Summit 2015’ which in itself was an amazing experience.

October was a month of festivity and to add to my job, my post on Navratri made it to the picked addition at BlogAdda.

November also witnessed a winning moment with my entry at BlogAdda Contest.

Year 2016 has been more on inspirational concepts of life in various relationships.  The Questions laid out in my post literally made readers think whether such an ideology really exist? My love of preserving memories was evident in my posts during the month of March with April being a turning point wherein for the first time the Contributors were allowed to post their articles on the blogsite and believe me, this step helped SP get a huge response !

Now, when I turn to look back, I wonder what made me took that leap and jumped into an entirely different world! It was my Husband’s faith in me that gave me the courage to step out of my comfort zone and allow myself to grow in ways that I never even knew was possible before. I couldn’t thank him enough to have that faith in my abilities!

My readers have been my support system throughout this journey and their response have always encouraged me to get better with each post. I just hope to continue get the same love and support SP has been getting from all of you.
